Soccer Recap: Cleveland Falls Short of Lincoln in the Playoffs

Cleveland and Lincoln squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Cleveland had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Cardinals by a score of 2-1. Having soared to a lofty four goals in the game before, Cleveland couldn't push the score so high this time.

Cleveland's loss dropped their record down to 8-4-5. As for Lincoln, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-3-2 record this season.

Cleveland does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lincoln, they will face off against West Linn on Saturday. West Linn's defense has only allowed 0.5 goals per game this season, so Lincoln's offense will have their work cut out for them.
