While Bainbridge put up some runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Meadowdale. The Spartans narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Mavericks 1-0. The one-run effort marked the Spartans' lowest-scoring matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

The victory (which was Bainbridge's third in a row) raised their record to 9-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.7 runs over those games. As for Meadowdale, they moved to 3-5 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Looking ahead, Bainbridge is taking a road trip to square off against Jackson at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. The Timberwolves' pitching crew has only allowed two runs per game this season, so the Spartans' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Meadowdale, they will host Mountlake Terrace at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Mavericks 3.6, the Hawks 3.9) so any runs scored will be well earned.
