Volleyball Recap: Rancho San Juan Takes a Loss

Rancho San Juan and Ann Sobrato squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Rancho San Juan had to settle for second. They came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Trailblazers have suffered since September 29th.

The final score came out to 25-21, 25-12, 25-14.

Carla Aguilar paced Rancho San Juan's offense, picking up eight kills. Aguilar got some help from Delylah Magdaleno and her seven assists. Aguilar was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Ann Sobrato's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Madeline Blair, who had ten digs and two aces. That's the most aces Blair has posted over her last six matches.
