Football Game Preview: Adair Warriors vs. Wyandotte Bears

Adair has gone a perfect 5-0 against Wyandotte recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Warriors will be playing at home against the Bears at 7:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Wyandotte will be up against a hot Adair team: the squad just extended their winning streak to eight. The Warriors blew past Keys 64-41 on Thursday. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Warriors' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma football rankings (they are ranked 45th, while the Cougars are ranked 134th).

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Adair to victory, but perhaps none more so than Cole Moody, who picked up 165 receiving yards and three touchdowns. That's the most receiving touchdowns Moody has posted since back in August. Another player making a difference was Ryan Wilson, who gained 125 total yards and a touchdown.

Adair was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 317 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Wyandotte, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They took their matchup on Thursday with ease, bagging a 62-14 win over Commerce. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Bears considering their 13-point performance the game before.

Adair better keep an eye on Hunter White. He was instrumental in Wyandotte's win, throwing for 339 yards and six TDs while completing 94.1% of his passes, and also rushing for 40 yards and one score. Tayton Threet was another key pass catcher, picking up 163 receiving yards and three touchdowns.

Adair's victory bumped their record up to 8-0. As for Wyandotte, their win bumped their record up to 7-1.

Everything went Adair's way against Wyandotte in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, as Adair made off with a 40-14 victory. Do the Warriors have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bears turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
