Basketball Recap: Ridge Point Wins Going Away Against Splendora

It was a proper cat-fight when Ridge Point challenged Splendora on Saturday. The Panthers put the hurt on the Wildcats with a sharp 71-46 win. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 25 points or more this season.

Despite the loss, Splendora had strong showings from Logan Baack, who posted 14 points, and Ryan Small, who scored six points and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of La'Montrez Slocumb, who had seven points.

Ridge Point's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Splendora, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season.

Ridge Point has already played their next contest, a 50-45 defeat against Deer Park on the 6th. As for Splendora, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 41-32 loss against Lamar Consolidated on the 6th.
