While Altoona put up some runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for St. Croix Central. The Railroaders blew past the Panthers 8-0. The Railroaders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by six runs or more this season.

Altoona has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.6 runs on average over those games. As for St. Croix Central, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

Coming up, Altoona will square off against Somerset at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for St. Croix Central, they will be playing at home against Amery at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Warriors have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 17.86 runs per game on average), something the Panthers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
