Basketball Recap: Van Alstyne Victorious

After losing to Pottsboro the last time they met, Van Alstyne decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Panthers snuck past the Cardinals with a 59-55 victory on Monday.

Van Alstyne now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Pottsboro, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Van Alstyne and Caddo Mills will face off at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest, having both just played. As for Pottsboro, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Ponder at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
