Basketball Recap: Mariposa County Wins Going Away Against Yosemite

Mariposa County won the last time they faced Yosemite and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Grizzlies took down the Badgers 58-41. The game marked the Grizzlies' most dominant victory of the season so far.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Mariposa County to victory, but perhaps none more so than Joseph Casner, who posted 21 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Casner has scored at least a third of the Grizzlies' points. Fabian Soto was another key player, putting up 15 points.

The win (which was Mariposa County's third in a row) raised their record to 3-1. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.7 points over those games. As for Yosemite, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-3.
