Basketball Recap: Connersville Spartans vs. Franklin County Wildcats
Connersville won the last time they faced Franklin County and things went their way on Friday too. The Connersville Spartans came out on top against the Franklin County Wildcats by a score of 54-47.
Connersville was led to victory by Jadan Peterson and Hunter Allen. Peterson went 7-for-14 to rack up 18 points, while Allen posted 13 points and seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Grady Simpkins, who scored seven points.
Franklin County's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Isaiah Kemp, who went 5-for-12 on his way to 15 points and six boards. Brady Foster was another key player, putting up nine points and five rebounds.
