Austin waltzed into their contest on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came within a single point of losing the streak, but they secured a 59-58 W against the Furr Brahmans. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 46-37 back in November.

Austin's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ashtian Glass led the charge by putting up 24 points. That makes it five consecutive games in which Glass has scored at least a third of the Mustangs' points. Another player making a difference was Za'Riah Jenkins, who posted 19 points.

Austin's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Furr, they now have a losing record of 2-3.
