Volleyball Recap: First Baptist Takes a Loss

First Baptist was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Lancaster Baptist Eagles. If First Baptist was looking for revenge after losing 3-2 to Lancaster Baptist when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

While First Baptist had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-20, 25-18.

First Baptist's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Lancaster Baptist, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-7 record this season.

First Baptist wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Fairmont Prep on the 22nd. As for Lancaster Baptist, they have also already played their next match, a 3-2 defeat against Faith Baptist on the 25th.
