Softball Recap: Suwannee Comes Up Short

Suwannee's last matchup with Branford could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Friday. The Bulldogs came up short against the Buccaneers, falling 12-2. The loss continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their meetings with the Buccaneers: they've now lost five in a row.

Suwannee saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kynadee Lin Lee, who scored a run while going 1-for-1.

Suwannee now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Branford, they pushed their record up to 9-4 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Suwannee didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 16-1 defeat against Santa Fe on the 25th. As for Branford, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 9-6 victory against Trenton on the 22nd.
