Softball Recap: Uniontown Comes Up Short

Uniontown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 14-10 to the Frazier Commodores. The Red Raiders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Commodores apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2016.

Uniontown's loss dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Frazier, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-9.

Uniontown didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 6-0 defeat against Brownsville on the 8th. As for Frazier, they are taking a road trip to face off against Serra Catholic at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Commodores' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Eagles have averaged an impressive 9.1 runs per game this season.
