Basketball Recap: Winston School of Dallas Takes a Loss

Winston School of Dallas lost against Dallas Academy back in January of 2018 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Eagles fell 57-45 to the Bulldogs. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Winston School of Dallas saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Riot Woods posted eight points and 16 rebounds. Those 16 boards set a new season-high mark for Woods. Another player making a difference was JJ Johnson, who had 12 points and six rebounds.

Winston School of Dallas' defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.

Coming up, Winston School of Dallas will welcome Alcuin at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Dallas Academy, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Diamond Hill-Jarvis at 7:30 p.m. on December 2.
