Northeast Bradford and North Penn-Liberty are an even 4-4 against one another since May of 2016, but likely not for long. The Panthers will face off against the Mountie at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Neither Northeast Bradford nor North Penn-Liberty posted many runs in their last games, so it might be the pitching crews that decide this one.

Northeast Bradford had taken Troy down for four straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Thursday. The Panthers came up short against the Trojans, falling 12-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Panthers have suffered against the Trojans since April 4, 2019.

Northeast Bradford saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kelsea Moore, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Athens typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday North Penn-Liberty proved too difficult a challenge. They never let the Wildcats get on the board and left with a 1-0 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Mountie have posted since March 27th.

North Penn-Liberty's win was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-3. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.6 runs over those games. As for Northeast Bradford, their loss dropped their record down to 8-6.

Northeast Bradford couldn't quite get it done against North Penn-Liberty in their previous meeting back in May of 2024 as they fell 7-2. Can the Panthers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
