Trey Hughes turned in yet another pitching appearance with fewer than three walks surrendered on Monday. He turned in his biggest game of the season, striking out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). Perhaps even more impressive was his lead-up to Monday's match, in which he outscored his previous point total for three consecutive games.

Looking ahead, Hughes and West Florida Baptist Academy will challenge Lighthouse Private Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
