Selkirk had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 19-3 margin over the Republic Tigers. While the Rangers didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-11), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Selkirk's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Republic, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Selkirk will face off against rival Curlew at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Republic is set to take on their familiar foe Cusick at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
