Football Recap: Sheehan Makes It Eight in a Row at Home + How To Watch

There's no place like home for Sheehan, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They won a contest that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by the Shelton Gaels 26-25.

Jake O'Brien was a one-man wrecking crew as he rushed for 37 yards and three touchdowns, and also threw for 128 yards and one TD. That's the most passing yards he has posted since back in September.

Despite the loss, Shelton still got an impressive performance from Cole StPierre, who rushed for 140 yards and three scores. StPierre's rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 101 rushing yards.

Sheehan pushed their record up to 7-2 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. Those home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 13.4 points on average over those games. As for Shelton, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-7.

Coming up, after each having a week off, Sheehan and Lyman Hall will shake off the rust and duke it out at 10:00 a.m. on the 27th. The Trojans' defense has only allowed 14.4 points per game this season, so the Titans' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Shelton, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Amity Regional at 10:30 a.m. on the 27th.
