Basketball Game Preview: Fort Towson Tigers vs. Achille Golden Eagles

The Fort Towson Tigers will head out to face off against the Achille Golden Eagles at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Fort Towson has now lost 12 straight dating back to last season, leaving the team hunting for their first win since December 17.

It was a proper cat-fight when Fort Towson faced off against Haworth on Thursday. The Tigers fell 44-34 to the Lions.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 75-23, which was the final score in Achille's tilt against Rock Creek on Thursday. The Golden Eagles haven't had much luck with the Mustangs recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Achille's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Fort Towson, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Fort Towson strolled past Achille in their previous matchup back in February of 2024 by a score of 41-27. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
