Basketball Game Preview: New London Wildcats vs. St. Paul Flyers

New London is 0-10 against St. Paul since January of 2020 but things could change on Friday. The New London Wildcats will be playing in front of their home fans against the St. Paul Flyers at 7:00 p.m.

On Tuesday, New London ended up a good deal behind Crestline and lost 52-34. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, St. Paul waltzed into their match on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They enjoyed a cozy 70-54 win over the Trojans. Given the Flyers' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 408th, while the Trojans are ranked 817th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

St. Paul has also been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. As for New London, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-13.
