Nick Schantz posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Monday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he struck out seven batters over seven innings while giving up three earned runs off seven hits (and not a single walk). He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances.

Schantz's strong effort led Northview over Perrysburg and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
