Meanwhile, Lake Creek entered their matchup against Montgomery on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Lions took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bears.

Huntsville will have to keep a close watch on Brooke Kelley and Louisa Ertischek, a pair of players who had a big impact on Lake Creek's prior game. Kelley had nine digs and three aces, while Ertischek had 19 digs and two assists. Kansas Lamar also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.
Lake Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 16-20. As for Huntsville, their loss dropped their record down to 17-24.
