Basketball Game Preview: Lewisburg Green Dragons vs. Mifflinburg Wildcats

Lewisburg and Mifflinburg are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2018, but not for long. The Lewisburg Green Dragons will head out to challenge the Mifflinburg Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Lewisburg will be strutting in after a victory while Mifflinburg will be coming in after a loss.

Lewisburg saw some tournament action on Saturday. They walked away with a 46-36 win over Greenwood. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Green Dragons.

Meanwhile, Mifflinburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a blow against Mifflin County, falling 63-22.

Mifflinburg's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Lewisburg, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.

Everything came up roses for Lewisburg against Mifflinburg in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, as the squad secured a 55-27 victory. Does Lewisburg have another victory up their sleeve, or will Mifflinburg turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
