Basketball Recap: King Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Benet Academy, King was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They skirted past the De La Salle Meteors 60-57. For the Jaguars, this counts as revenge for the 68-48 win the Meteors walked away with the last time they faced one another back in November of 2024.

Corey Wellere Jr was a one-man wrecking crew as he shot 64% from beyond the arc on his way to 23 points and six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Terrel Keys, who posted 11 points and five assists.

The victory got King back to even at 1-1. As for De La Salle, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.
