Volleyball Recap: Falcon Has No Trouble Against Liberty

Falcon won the last time they faced Liberty and things went their way on Thursday too. The Falcons were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Lancers. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Falcons.

While Falcon won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-23, 25-19.

Olivia Pitts paced Falcon's offense, picking up seven kills. Pitts got some help from Taryn Hall and her 12 assists. Alyvia Lane controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Falcon's win bumped their record up to 17-6. As for Liberty, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 12 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-15 record this season.

Falcon does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Liberty, they will be taking part in a tournament against Grand Junction Central at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
