Volleyball Recap: Miller Place Comes Up Short

Miller Place lost against Sayville back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Panthers lost 3-0 to the Golden Flashes.

While Miller Place was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-22, 25-21.

Sayville found their leader in freshman Jenna Brown, who had nine digs and five aces. Isabella Cabrera also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Miller Place's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Sayville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-4-1 record this season.

As of now, neither Miller Place nor Sayville have any future games scheduled.
