Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Potomac School). They never let the Benedictine Cadets get on the board and left with a 5-0 win on Monday. It was an even better day for Aiden Zarate as he scored three goals for his team.

The victory (which was Potomac School's fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-2-2. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those four contests. As for Benedictine, they moved to 7-2-1 with that loss, which also ended their six-match winning streak.

Looking ahead, Potomac School will challenge Sidwell Friends at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Benedictine, they will take on Collegiate at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
