Baseball Recap: Clinton Central Comes Up Short

Clinton Central lost against Tipton back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Bulldogs took a 9-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Blue Devils. Bulldogs fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Blue Devils since on Thursday.

Clinton Central saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cole Davison, who went 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI. Daniel Holton was another, going 3-for-4 with one stolen base.

Clinton Central now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Tipton, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Clinton Central will take on Twin Lakes at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Tipton, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Logansport at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
