Football Recap: Ball Takes a Loss

Ball was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 52-14 loss at the hands of the Lufkin Panthers. The Tornadoes lost against the Panthers in their previous head to head back in November of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 35-21 score last time.

Ball's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Lufkin, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.

Ball does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lufkin, they will square off against Westbury at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Huskies will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each game than the last.
