Basketball Recap: Brainerd Comes Up Short

Brainerd lost against Howard Tech back in November and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Panthers received a blow as they fell 54-35 to the Hustlin' Tigers. The matchup marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Brainerd's defeat was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Howard Tech, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-6.

Brainerd wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 52-46 loss against East Ridge on the 16th. As for Howard Tech, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 52-49 defeat against Chattanooga School for the Arts & Sciences on the 15th.
