Basketball Game Preview: St. John's Cadets vs. Gonzaga Eagles

St. John is preparing for their first league matchup of the season on Friday. They will host the Gonzaga Eagles at 7:30 p.m. Both teams are still undefeated (St. John's has three wins , while Gonzaga has five dating back to last season).

On Wednesday, St. John's strolled past Takoma Academy with points to spare, taking the game 78-59.

Meanwhile, Gonzaga earned a 72-65 victory over New Hope Academy National on Tuesday.

St. John's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Gonzaga, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

St. John's couldn't quite get it done against Gonzaga in their previous meeting back in January as they fell 69-59. Can the Cadets avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
