When it comes to explaining why Culver Community lost, one person who can't be blamed is Jack Rodgers. Despite the final result, he scored 19 points along with six steals. Rodgers continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.
Bremen got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Chase Devine out in front who scored 20 points along with six assists and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyrus Graverson, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds.
Culver Community's loss dropped their record down to 9-14. As for Bremen, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-12.
Culver Community will challenge Triton at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully Culver Community focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Friday. As for Bremen, they will square off against Glenn at 8:30 p.m. on Friday. Bremen has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
