Basketball Recap: Bernie Beats Dexter for Their Fourth Straight Win

Bernie entered their tilt with Dexter on Thursday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They had just enough and edged the Dexter Bearcats out 70-68. For the Mules, this counts as revenge for the 40-24 victory the Bearcats walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2024.

Bernie has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.6 points per game. As for Dexter, they dropped their record down to 7-8 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bernie will host Bloomfield at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Dexter, they will be playing at home against Puxico at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
