Basketball Recap: Jackson Takes a Loss

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 65-26, which was the final score in the Jackson Vikings's tilt against the Phillips Wildcats on Saturday. The game marked the Vikings' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Jackson's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Phillips, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-9.

Looking ahead, Jackson will square off against Everett at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Jackson will be up against Everett's rather soft defense (which has allowed 58.75 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Phillips, they will head out on the road to challenge Dyett at 4:55 p.m. on Wednesday.
