Basketball Recap: Beresford Takes a Loss

Beresford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Flandreau Fliers and fell 70-36. If the Watchdogs were looking for revenge after losing 71-45 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Beresford's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Flandreau, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Beresford will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Centerville at 1:00 p.m. on December 31st. Centerville will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Beresford surely won't give up without a fight. Flandreau and St. Mary will round out the year against one another at at 5:00 p.m. on December 28th.
