Basketball Recap: NICKARREON WILLIAMS's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Soulsville over Middle College

Soulsville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 67-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Middle College Bulldogs. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Revolution this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 57-52 back in December of 2024.

Soulsville's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was NICKARREON WILLIAMS, who posted 18 points and three steals. JAKEEL TRUSS was another key player, putting up 18 points.

Soulsville's loss dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Middle College, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 14 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Soulsville will square off against University at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Middle College, they will take on Booker T. Washington at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
