Football Recap: Putnam City Skates Past Grant with Ease

While Putnam City put up plenty of points on Thursday, the same can't be said for Grant. The Pirates breezed past the Generals to the tune of 56-0. The Pirates might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by 42 points or more this season.

Putnam City had a senior duo take command as Rodgerick Sloan gained 174 total yards and two touchdowns and Schuylar Turnbull threw for 155 yards and three TDs while completing 76.9% of his passes. Sloan was no stranger to the big play, cutting upfield on a catch that went for 53 yards.
