St. Charles North is 8-2 against St. Charles East since February of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The St. Charles North North Stars will be playing in front of their home fans against the St. Charles East Fighting Saints at 7:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

St. Charles North is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 65 points on Friday, they were much more limited against Wheaton-Warrenville South on Saturday. They came up short against the Tigers, falling 48-27. The loss continues a trend for the North Stars in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now lost eight in a row.

Meanwhile, St. Charles East fought the good fight in their overtime game against Lake Park on Saturday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 46-45 to the Lancers. It was the first time this season that the Fighting Saints let down their fans at home.

St. Charles East's defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 4-3. As for St. Charles North, they now have a losing record at 4-5.

St. Charles North took their victory against St. Charles East in their previous meeting back in February by a conclusive 65-42. Will St. Charles North repeat their success, or does St. Charles East have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
