Basketball Game Preview: Perry Central Bulldogs vs. St. Stanislaus Rock-a-Chaws

The Perry Central Bulldogs are taking a road trip to face off against the St. Stanislaus Rock-a-Chaws at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Perry Central is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Christian Collegiate Academy just ended the team's four-game winning streak back in December of 2024. They took a 63-49 bruising from the Bulldogs.

Meanwhile, after a string of eight wins, St. Stanislaus' good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell to West Harrison 55-50.

Perry Central now has a losing record at 7-8. As for St. Stanislaus, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-5.

Perry Central barely slipped by St. Stanislaus when the teams last played back in January of 2024, winning 40-39. The rematch might be a little tougher for Perry Central since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
