The East Helena Vigilantes will venture away from home to face off against the Park Rangers at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. East Helena will be strutting in after a victory while Park will be coming in after a loss.

Last Thursday, East Helena got the win against Hardin by a conclusive 17-6.

Emily Dearing made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out seven over six innings pitched. Dearing was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with three doubles, two RBI, and one run.

In other batting news, East Helena got a massive performance out of Keeley Hamilton, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Ashtyn Ridgeway, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-2.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Park's offense. They lost 16-0 to Billings Central Catholic on Tuesday. The Rangers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

East Helena's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Park, they now have a losing record of 1-2-1.
