Volleyball Recap: Jackson Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Jackson lost against Stanwood back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Timberwolves came up short against the Spartans, falling 3-0.

Sakura Yokoo paced Jackson's offense, picking up 11 kills. Yokoo got some help from Kate Nelson and her 11 assists. Finally, Avery Cooke kept Jackson's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Jackson dropped their record down to 6-12 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Stanwood, the victory was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-1-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Jackson will face off against rival Arlington at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Stanwood is set to take on their familiar foe Marysville-Pilchuck at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
