Basketball Game Preview: Glenelg Gladiators vs. Mt. Hebron Vikings

The Glenelg Gladiators will face off against the Mt. Hebron Vikings on Monday. Glenelg has insisted on making their last three contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 1-2 during that stretch of close contests.

Glenelg is headed into the contest having just posted their closest win since January 10th on Wednesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 39-36 victory over Hammond.

Meanwhile, Mt. Hebron lost to Oakland Mills at home by a 49-32 margin on Wednesday. The Vikings haven't had much luck with the Scorpions recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.

Mt. Hebron's loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Glenelg, their win bumped their record up to 7-9.

Glenelg came up short against Mt. Hebron in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, falling 44-35. Can Glenelg avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
