Pana is 8-2 against Carlinville since September of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Panthers will be playing at home against the Cavaliers at 7:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Pana comes in on five and Carlinville on seven.

On Friday, Pana really took it to Litchfield/Mt. Olive for the full four quarters, racking up a 63-21 win. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by 28 points or more this season.

Cash Lynch continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 254 yards and four TDs on only six carries. His longest rush was for an incredible 81 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Cayden Durbin, who rushed for 160 yards and one touchdown on only 13 carries.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Pana was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 532 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Pana didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Lynch and Devin Hurlburt.

Meanwhile, Carlinville beat Hillsboro 35-27 on Friday.

Carlinville's victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Pana, their win bumped their record up to an identical 7-1.

Pana was able to grind out a solid victory over Carlinville in their previous meeting back in September of 2024, winning 26-14. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Cavaliers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
