Lincoln takes down Chiles in a playoff battle

Recap: Lincoln Trojans vs. Chiles Timberwolves

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Lincoln Trojans walked away with it. They blew past the Timberwolves 58-31 at home on Wednesday. Lincoln has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 games by 23 points or more this season.

Lincoln's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jamia Brown, who scored 18 points along with eight rebounds and five assists. Another player making a difference was Jamiya Brown, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds.

Lincoln pushed their record up to 20-4 with that win, which was their ninth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.9 points per game. As for Chiles, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-12.

Lincoln didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 51-49 victory vs. Gainesville on the 9th. Chiles does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
