Basketball Recap: Pinnacle Has No Trouble Against Valley Vista + How To Watch

While Pinnacle didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-18), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They took down the Valley Vista Monsoon 64-50 on Thursday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Pioneers also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2024.

The win made it two in a row for Pinnacle and bumps their season record up to 5-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.0 points over those games. As for Valley Vista, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.

Coming up, Pinnacle is taking a road trip to square off against Brophy College Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Valley Vista, they will be playing at home against Willow Canyon at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Monsoon will need to watch out since the Wildcats have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
