Soccer Recap: Maine School of Science & Math Comes Up Short

Maine School of Science & Math lost against Fort Fairfield on September 9th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Penguins came up short against the Tigers, falling 8-0. While losing is never fun, Maine School of Science & Math can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maine soccer rankings (they are ranked 94th, while Fort Fairfield are ranked second).

Maine School of Science & Math's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Fort Fairfield, their victory bumped their record up to 9-0.

Looking ahead, Maine School of Science & Math will head out to face off against Easton at 7:00 p.m. on the 8th. As for Fort Fairfield, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Penobscot Valley on the 1st.
