Football Recap: Beggs' Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Beggs had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 28 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They took down the Tishomingo Indians 34-19. The Demons have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Indians, too.

Despite the loss, Tishomingo still got an impressive performance from Dylan Burton, who picked up 84 receiving yards and one score, and also rushed for 100 yards. The bulk of those receiving yards came from one huge play: a catch that gained an incredible 72 yards. Hudson Alexander was another key player, having thrown for 253 yards and three touchdowns.

Beggs' victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Tishomingo, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.

Beggs has already played their next matchup, a 35-6 loss against Dibble on the 7th. As for Tishomingo, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 39-13 win against Coalgate on the 7th.
