Soccer Recap: Telluride Victorious

Telluride's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Frontier Academy Wolverines a 4-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for Telluride, who have now won three contests by four goals or more so far this season.

They hit Frontier Academy with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Obi Clarke (2), Diego Montano, and Spencer Du Toit.

Telluride now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Frontier Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Telluride will head out to challenge Montezuma-Cortez at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Frontier Academy, they will venture away from home to take on Eagle Ridge Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
