Basketball Game Preview: North Hall Trojans vs. Lumpkin County Indians

The North Hall Trojans will head out on the road to challenge the Lumpkin County Indians at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

On Friday, North Hall had to suffer through a 85-43 loss at the hands of Pickens. While losing is never fun, the Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 175th, while the Dragons are ranked 30th).

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Lumpkin County, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They blew past Dawson County 75-45 on Friday. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Indians had established a 27 point advantage.

Lumpkin County is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.9 points per game. As for North Hall, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-8.

North Hall came up short against Lumpkin County when the teams last played on January 9th, falling 86-74. Can North Hall avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
