Davis hasn't had much luck against Bingham recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Darts will welcome the Miners at 3:30 p.m. Davis is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.5 runs per game this season.

Davis is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Utah's top teams: West Field, who was ranked 17th at the time (Davis was ranked ninth). The Darts lost 13-2 to the Longhorns on Wednesday. The Darts were red-hot at the plate heading into the matchup (they scored no less than ten runs in the six contests prior), but the Longhorns' pitchers proved too tough.

Jewel Korth was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run.

Meanwhile, Bingham came up short against Cedar Valley on Tuesday and fell 8-5.

Tatum Ewing made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and fired off two home runs and four RBI while going 2-for-3.

Bingham's defeat dropped their record down to 13-13-1. As for Davis, their loss dropped their record down to 22-5.

Bingham's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Thursday. Davis has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 8.1 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Bingham, though, as they've been averaging an even more impressive 3.5 strikeouts. Will Davis keep running through batters, or will the Miners buck the trend?
